Default THE PHOENIX Fitness Challenge #2

Allright girls, we sort of voted, and this is what we're doing this week:

How many sit-ups can you do?

It's ok to do regular, on the floor sit ups, ones where someone is holding your toes down, sit-ups on an exercise ball, leg raises, any kind of ab work that you want to do consistently this week.

Let's pick one style and go with it for the week, so we can chart our improvement. I'm not sure how this will work, as I know that my abs get pretty sore, but we'll see!!!

By the way girls, it doesn't hurt to keep doing the push-ups too!!! We can still post our improvement on that too. Let's all get so buff that we just can't stand it!!!

I'm going to continue the push ups, and will be doing crunches for my daily thing. This is how many consequtive-spelling???-ones right? Not daily. Just want to be sure I do it correctly.

Hi guys! Thanks for getting the challenge under way! I think we'll do crunches though...not "sit ups". They tend to be harder on the back! If you read my Trainer Tips page in my blog....my last tip was about "Abs". It explains there how to do a crunch with proper form. Remember not to go really fast! count "1 and 2 and 3" on your way up and SQUEEZE...then return to starting position slowly by counting "1 and 2 and 3". DO NOT rest once you're back in the starting position...move right into your next rep. It's all explained though in my blog. If you have any questions...please feel free to ask . Lets get strong girls!!!!

Sunday = 30 Crunches

I feel most of my tightening just below my rib area........would like to concentrate on lower belly.........Suggestions, please!

Ok, I didn't get any in yesterday, but I did get a bit of a workout in (does dragging a dead deer 1/2 mile count???)!

Anyway, I'll try to get to these tonight. Thanks for the tips Michelle!!!
