The way the activity logs work is, first by month... then each number represents the date of that month. 1 means the 1st, 2 means the 2nd, 3 means the 3rd.... and so on. Like a calender.
For example:
1-Off (on my log means on Sept 1st I took the day off and no workouts)
2-Jillian Michael 30 min. Shred video (means on Sept 2nd I did a dvd workout)
It's completely up to you if you want to do it this way, it's not mandatory. I just like it this way cuz it's easier for me to look back at my months and see each day filled up with an activity. It helps keep me motivated. When I use to post my workouts in a paragraph, it was easy for me to lose it since I don't usually go back and read all my postings, but I do look at my calender activity log everyday.
