CHERYL: I feel embarrassed too wearing sleeveless shirts, even at home alone. I am hoping those free weights are going to help!

ISABELLE: Good idea to bring those free weights! I will have to do that! I used to have ankle weights a long time ago.

September's Activity Log

1- Off

2- Jillian Michael 30 min. Shred video
3- 30 min cardio/leg lifts/donkey kicks/stepper combo.
4- Walked 2 miles & jogged/sprint .75 mile, total 2.75 miles

yesterday Heidi and I walked 1.92 miles. It is pretty hot here is Sacramento, so I need to get up earlier and walk. Heidi is half white shep and husky so is very hairy, so I worry about her getting too hot. Maybe we will walk this evening and today I will do the arm weights and stair stepper. I am not sure yet... WHAT DID YOU ALL DO YESTERDAY OR THIS MORNING AS FAR AS EXERCISE. I am not sure if I understand the "Actiivity logs". Is each # and different day? Have a good one

The way the activity logs work is, first by month... then each number represents the date of that month. 1 means the 1st, 2 means the 2nd, 3 means the 3rd.... and so on. Like a calender.

For example:

1-Off (on my log means on Sept 1st I took the day off and no workouts)
2-Jillian Michael 30 min. Shred video (means on Sept 2nd I did a dvd workout)


It's completely up to you if you want to do it this way, it's not mandatory. I just like it this way cuz it's easier for me to look back at my months and see each day filled up with an activity. It helps keep me motivated. When I use to post my workouts in a paragraph, it was easy for me to lose it since I don't usually go back and read all my postings, but I do look at my calender activity log everyday.

By the way...

Great job on the walking!! I usually walk in the evenings to avoid the heat. Mornings are good to. Keep it up!

Sept. Activity Log with Heidi

1 - off
2 - short walk w/ Heidi
3 - walk/jog (not sure how far)
4 - walked 1.92 miles, 4818 steps

So far for September:

1. Swam all day with the family but no real exercise
2. Off
3. 1 hr kickboxing and 1 hr Pilates Fusion
4. 1 hr 20 min strength training, 1 hr Pilates, 40 min. elliptical & stairmaster
5. 1 hr kickboxing, 15 min. treadmill

My upper body is so sore from my circuit, interval strength training I did yesterday. I'm glad I missed the Lift class because I did my own routine and it was intense but fun at the same time.
