Talking 5k, 10k, 1/2 marathon to marathon challenge

2 years ago I lost my baby weight from my first pregnancy by training and running a marathon. I want to do that again b/c the feeling of crossing the finish line was awesome. I am signing up for the Spirit of St. Louis in April2009. Anyone else want to join my challenge. First I will work my way up to a 5k, then a 10k, 1/2 marathon and then the marathon. When I started training 2 years ago, I could only run a mile, then within 7 months of training I ran 26.2 miles. My hubby and friends aren't runners and think that I am crazy. They support me, but think it's crazy still. I found that training for something helps me not worry about dieting to lose weight, but eating better to achieve my fitness goal.
