You girls are putting me to shame! TOM has been rough this week and I haven't exercised like I should. Yesterday was just 60 minutes of yard work and scrubbing floors. Today I'm headed to the park and then am not going to allow myself computer access until my laundry is all folded and put away.

Great job on the workouts, you two.

So you lost all your weight doing South Beach???? I am not really familiar with it.

I normally don't get to start on my workouts til about 8:30 ish. Sometimes later. Yes, I lost all of my weight doing the Southbeach diet. I keep trying to go back to phase 1 on it but I am really having a hard time. I need something "new".
I have done it for almost 5 years. (off and on of course)

Sorry Diane. TOM is here for me as well and it has been hard to push through and still do my workouts. In the past, I let TOM take me out of exercise for a week at a time. Hope you feel better soon!

What is phase 1, or is it too complicated and I need to read the book. I think I even have the book.

Hey Lia! Phase one lasts for 2 weeks and your food consists of:

Lean meats, chicken, fish....things like that.
You can also have turkey bacon, canadian bacon.....veggies,eggs, nuts, sugar free Jello, lowfat cheeses.

No fruits, breads, pastas in the 1st two weeks. If you have the book, there is a section that tells what foods to eat. Glance over it.....also we have a forum under weightloss groups here. We are under the South beach sun bathers.

Hey there!! ok, so I have been away, (Jamaica was lovely) been back and shame on me, haven't been back on here. I was getting my watp in.. but of course all that rum in jamaica didn't allow for weight loss (I am shameful) but I didn't gain anything, so i am happy about that. I am back and ready to commit.. no travels to slow me down.. Keep up the great work ladies!!!!

Good morning ladies. I walked three miles last night. I have been feeling a little drained. And maybe a little frustrated again because I have not lost any weight. Yes, my clothes feel different but that stupid scale

Tasha, so what would you eat for breakfast??? I take it you cannot have oatmeal or cereal....eggs, I suppose.

Diane are you doing the SouthBeach diet also???

Glad you had a great trip angie!

Good morning everyone! Still have laundry to do.

Angie! You're back! Glad you had fun in Jamaica.

Lia - that scale is a pesky thing, isn't it? I have a love/hate relationship with it. I started South Beach, but my doctor recommened I stop because of a new medication. You can eat tofu for breakfast as well. I don't eat eggs so it was a little bit of a challenge.
