but sometimes change is exactly what you need. you sound really motivated when talking about the change but due to what you are comfortable with you don't want to. i say make the change. it's not like no one has ever raised kids there before y'know. it's all in how you raise them! i'd so do that myself but not only do i not live near an ocean but i can't move anywhere at the moment!!!

I made a new goal for me for this month since it's June 1st.
I want to walk at least 5 times a week, and I want to get stricter with my diet. So, if you would like an additional support buddy, consider it to be me. I am in a good group too called ROCKSTARS! Since joining the group I have lost 10 pounds after just kind of stagnating for a year. The more involved you get in these challenges, groups, etc, the more motivated you will become and the more weight you will lose!!! I have seen this to be true. You are doing the right thing by reaching out, and you are helping yourself, me, and many others. So, I thank you for being here and helping me to get more more motivation too!!!!!

Heather I love the ocean too. I'm a big scuba diver and when we moved from Hawaii to Alabama yes we still have the bay but it's just not the same...

Walking/Biking wise I'm doing really good. I'm up to 54 miles. Traci, I didn't know how many miles I was going so I made up a route and then drove it and figured it out with the car. Silly but it works. I'm going on a mission trip to Cameroon in Africa this Thursday so I know I will get tons I mean tons of walking in. I guess I will just estimate how many... How's everyone else doing??

Now that I'm close to my goal weight I've noticed how truly flabby my legs and stomach are. The biking is working on my legs but it's slow going. I'm doing some sort of sit ups for the abs (not real consistant yet) but what would you guys suggest for the legs??

lunges! squats, jogging is really good for them as well.
