Default Walk Away the Pounds Challenge - Wk 3

Afternoon Ladies. Sounds like last week was a bit of a downer for most of us. Got back on track this morning with a 2 mile workout. Don't remember which one. Still feeling a little under the weather, but this is the week I have the bet with hubby for new DVD's. Anyone else want to join me with working out at 5 a.m.? lol

Let's have a good week!

Lia, that yoga sounds like fun. The first month or so that I was seriously exercising and watching my diet, I didn't lose much weight, but I did lose inches.

No 5 a.m. workout today. Hubby is home sick, son is sick, Ki is still asleep and I have been up since 4:30 with Wils. He seems to be feeling better so hopefully I can get my workout done soon. Still not feeling on top of the world, but I don't think exercising is going to make me more sick so I may as well do it.

Diane, sorry to hear that everyone is sick. Hope everyone gets well soon including yourself. I think I'm with Tasha, 5 am workouts are way to early for me. I'm still in my REM sleep at that time!!!! Lol... Everyone have a great Monday and Happy St. Patrick's Day. Don't forget to wear your green!!!!

I just finished my workout. I did the 4 mile fast walk, whew! SWEATY BETTY!

Diane, I saw your post on last week's forum. Why do you think that you will gain? Be positive! You did great last week!

Great job on the workout, Tasha!

Much of the weight I lost last week, I'd found in the previous weeks. I'm really trying not to gain any back. I think limiting the sugar last week really helped. But I have a pretty good track record of finding lost weight.

Did Walk and Kick today. James needed more meds so I went to Wal-Mart. They had 3 Muskateers ORANGE. The only thing better than chocolate and orange is chocolate and raspberry. Well. James got the bag of minis and I had 3 or 4 of them (a serving is 7). If I didn't think sugar was a problem before, I do now! I can barely keep my eyes open.

Clarification on the 5 a.m. thing. I hate, hate, hate getting up in the morning. But, if I want to get in a workout AND a shower (I've found that to be a really good combo! lol) before James leaves for work, I will have to do it at 5 a.m. Not really my first choice, but I think it might make my day go easier to get my workout done early.

Sorry D!! I am here right now. I hear ya on the sugar thing. I get really tired after eating it! I know what you mean about finding "lost" weight too. I have been doing that alot as of late. I am vowing that this week I will not do that! Or next week....The more I think about getting upe earlier, the better it sounds. Only one issue with that, My hubby is watching TV at that time before he leaves for work....
