Default Walk Away the Pounds Challenge

Good Morning! Let's see how good these workouts really are! Each of us can decide how we want to determine the effectiveness of them.

I'll be doing measurements today and, since I pretty much weight myself every day, weight to gauge how effective they are. I will probably be alternating between her Walk and Kick dvd and the Walk Slim 4 Fast Miles dvd.

Let's all have a good week.

I never really take measurements so I will just go the fit of my clothes and the scale. Can't wait to see the outcome!

lol ok, I sent that one ages ago.. and it just went through.. because I just completed the 3 miles again... they are easy Diane.. I mean, no stress but by mile 5 yes there was a bit of sweat. So, I can easily accomplish the 5 miles program each day... so I did "6"of her miles... I am curious how they equate to miles... Good luck girls!

Yeah, I'd used a pedometer for some of her 3 mile ones and it was about 2 miles worth of steps. I use my heart rate monitor now and the Walk and Kick one burns about 450 calories in just over 30 minutes. Haven't done any of the other ones yet.

Thanks for letting me know.

I took my measurements today and I'll do them again on April 1st. I've been doing Leslie's advanced 5 mile and I love it! I really work up a sweat with it. Part of the miles is keeping up with her fast pace! Some days I only use the 3 mile it depends on what shift I'm working that day! Hope we all Walk away LOTS of pounds!!

Hey Angela.. that is awesome.. that is what I did today!

Diane.. I was wondering how you burn so many calories in so little time... I looked into how much I burn on it, and online it says about 189calories for 30 minutes.. more would be great!

Keep at it girls!!!

I have a little heart rate monitor that tracks calories burned based on time, weight and heart rate. If I go by the calculators that just go by time and type of exercise, it is quite different. I also double check it by using the calculator on my gym's website that uses the same criteria as my monitor and they're within just a few calories of each other.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. I've got grocery shopping then my husband disappears for a couple of hours to take care of the bills (and read his comics!) so that's when I'll get my workout in. Today is the Fast 4 Miles.
