I can't seem to get over 4 miles at the gym - i usually only have one hour or less and can't run or get my heart rate over 140 - argh - i want more miles!!!

Nicole, you're in my thoughts today! ((((nicole))))

Cathy, what's for dinner???

Ellie, glad you woke up! LOL You should wear a ped during Zumba and count that!

Tatiana, have fun hiking! Are you all done with snow over on that Coast? We're getting a bunch right now.
Thanks, to let you know his surgery went great. He just got out10 minutes ago and is still sleeping. He is on breathing tubes for right now too. But the doctor says that if everything looks okay then in about 4 hours they will take it out. he is in ICU right now and they didn't have to do a blood transfusion or anything. As I know more I will let you know more.

Nicole I am glad everything went ok for your grandfather.
Debbie I have been chasing those kids around for years. I only count my miles that I do for exercise though. I wore a perdometer all day many times and I can average about 5-7 miles just in my work day. I am only counting the exercise DVDS, treadmill, and walking outside for the challenge. Ok so I am ready for tomorrow and 12 miles before the weekend is over. Glad to see a few energized people joining me this weekend.

Ellen, good job on getting back to walking. It's so therapeutic.

Debbie, the show is melting like crazy. I hope that we will be able to ski a few weekends more.

Zina, wow, 5-7 miles a day just at work. That's excellent. I sit all day and only count walking outside.

Did 6 miles today. It's 42 down. 108 to go. We can do it.
Oh, my trainer took some conditioning measures with me today. I walked a mile in 13 minutes. She said that my cardiovascular abilities were in the "very good" zone. Go walkers.

Nicole---glad to hear your Grandpa is doing ok. You are both in my thoughts.

Debbie---I'm making chicken...again! Not burning it this time. I found a quick and easy recipe for chicken manicotti. It only asked for a little bit of broccoli with the chicken and noodles, but I went through my freezer and put in a variety of more vegetables that I found. It's cooking now. We'll see how it goes. No broiling involved so we should be safe

Lyssa---very creative in changing miles to minutes. Way to hang in there through the injury.

After dinner tonight I'll head on down to the basement to walk on the treadmill. I just thought I'd check in now. Tomorrow will be a lot of fun. I am going with my husband and inlaws to picnic somewhere. Remember, I live in MN where there's snow on the ground so usually we hike somewhere and build a fire, hang out and visit and cook lunch and then hike back out. It should be fun.

Hey everyone! These last couple days have been tricky...but I have done all of my toning exercises, and I ate light today! I have added 4.5 more miles to my total. I began using the pedometer to help. I will be on the slopes tomorrow. I'll check in later. Melissa

Cathy it sounds like my kind of picnic. Back in the woods with a campfire. I can picture it now. Enjoy your day. I am going to walk the treadmill today and try to get caught up with everyone.
