Checking in: walked 5 miles. 2.5 with my husband and then after a short break (rested my right ankle) walked another 2.5 miles. Holy Cow, 85 degrees in Seattle in September!

The count: 46 done, 254 to go.

Ellen, are you checking in?

Great job Matt.

Let's keep it up people.

Tatiana

I did the Four Mile Express Challenge DVD so that's a total of 35 miles.

Push-Ups: 22
Sit-Ups : 22

Getting there...

And I am really starting to think about picking a day near the beginning of November to do a "Gazelle-A-Thon" where I do 26.2 miles in one day. Probably like 9am - 4pm. That's seven hours.

It might be a fun day to just Gazelle and watch DVDs.

Good morning Thanksgiving walkers!

I am doing well with walking still. Finished walking 3 miles with my husband. Walked a lot uphill and even went to the park. He is loving our morning walks. We walked very fast, 15 minutes per mile.

We decided to walk more in the afternoon and maybe take a slow walk in the evening.

It cooling off in Seattle... I don't want the rain...

yeah I drove my car around this area to see how long stuff is... where I live now the walk I take with my son is 2 miles and where we are moving to it is just over a mile to the park. So I figure on taking him in the evenings so every evening it's an extra two miles.

usually in the evenings I feel so sleepy I just sit like a lump on the sofa but I think I'm gonna try to start taking walks with my family down to the park after dinner. We'll see how it goes...

Hi! I got 5 miles in today. What is more impressive about that is that I did 4 miles in 64 minutes and then I worked out with my trainer for an hour and then I walked another mile afterwards. I felt like I needed to because I strained my right hamstring a bit doing side lunges with the trainer and I wanted to walk, slowly, to work it out a bit. We stretched a lot but I still felt a little tight. Anyway, I feel like I had a very big accomplishment today - 5 miles, 1100 calories burned, 1 hour of strength training... it's all good!

Checking in: clocked 8 miles today. I am tired. I am thinking about Matt's individual mini challenge. I may do 16 miles of walking a day in two weeks as my own individual challenge. Just like Fat March people. I may risk challenging myself to do a marathon... they did it, I can too?

The count: 54 in, 246 to go.

Thanks for doing it with me guys,

Tatiana

Show off!!

I'd be up for a 16 mile day... I think. Do I have to do it all at once? Holy cow. That's 4 days of walking. Can I skip a day after that? FYI cannot be W or F... I would vote for a Sunday ideally.

Okay I did the One Mile Walk to the Park (half mile each way) so that's 36, then Gazelle-ed two more while watching Last Comic Standing... so that's 38, and then two more with a DVD this morning brings my total walking to 40 miles. And we've been doing this for one week.

SO 40 miles in one week is pretty good.
