Okay I did 6 miles this afternoon while The Boy napped and I talked to my Mom on the Phone. Honestly, it went by like nothing because I was having a phone conversation.

I know not everyone is sticking to the same rules because it's all personal, but I am counting miles on The Gazelle which to be fair is less strenuous than walking outside or on a treadmill. But I am not counting all the walking I do around the house, or at work or chasing the boy at the park.

I don't mind if other people want to count all their miles all day long, anything is GREAT if it keeps us more active!!! I'm just saying I'm not.

So six more miles that equals 20 and I might do some more tonight while watching the Football Game.

Matt, I think it's perfectly fine to count your Gazelle miles. It was part of what you pledged you were going to do and you're sticking with it. Plus, with the boy to contain, it's hard to imagine you doing all of this outside or on a treadmill at the gym! Regardless of how you're doing them, I think you're doing an awesome awesome job. So congratulations on your achievements the last few days - celebrate the awesomeness that is you.

I got in 4.5 miles this afternoon. I'll hit another half mile before I call it done for the day - just to make it even.

Hey Matt,

I think that as long as you are clear about YOUR OWN challenge, everything works out the way it should. I sit all day long in the clinic and don't move at all. I count miles walking to work and back home because I choose not to drive but walk instead.

That's great about 6 miles. I will join you in indoor walking very soon. Seattle is famous for its rain and I treasure every day I still can walk outside. That's what I miss during gray rainy winter days in Seattle. I have to get back to the gym in October, when the rain starts.

20 miles is a big chunk of mileage that you completed. Way to go!
Cheers,

XXXX
P.S. I walked two more miles tonight. The count: 36 down, 264 to go. I am tired and have no appetite at all. I am safe from night time binges. I think.

I hit 5.5 today. I want to go out and do another half but I won't because that would be crazy obsessive and I'm only a little crazy. LOL ELLEN

Okay I got 5 more down while watching Depeche Mode's "Exciter" concert DVD from Paris from a few years ago. I'd really like to get the Playing The Angel concert on DVD. I'm a big Depeche Mode dan.
Push-Ups : 19
Sit-Ups : 22

I may hit 4 more miles tonight while watching "Fat March" on NBC.
Total Miles Walked : 25

4 miles banked today. I have work to do before school tonight so I believe that's all she wrote, or will write, for today. If that is the case I will end week one at 35 miles, 10 miles ahead of pace. I'm so glad I have a little wiggle room! ELLEN

Checking in... Did 5 miles outside.

Can't wait to see the Fat March people finishing their distance.

As of today I walked 41 miles. 259 to go. WOWSER. I am doing it.

I was really tired and my spine really hurt tonight but watching those Fat Marchers push thru their pain inspired me to get up and Gazelle for two miles. Total Miles : 27
Great job everyone.

Also their idea of the marathon makes me wonder if I could walk a marathon? It makes me think that when I get to around 250 miles into this Challenge I should pick a day to do 26.2 miles on The Gazelle in 7 hours or less. That could be a fun part of this challenge.

I did 30 minutes on my Gazelle just for fun. You know Matt, you are right. I feel the muscles in my legs I was not aware of before.

Good night and great job Thanksgiving Walkers,

Tatiana
