Default Wonder Woman Personal Challenge Week 1 - Do Overs!


Ok, I'm not real happy with the progress I was making on my Real Age plan so I want a do over. I kept slacking here and there and I just wasn't happy with it. So I'm doing it again.

This is my own personal challenge. I took the "Real Age" challenge and the results said my "real age" is 39.4. My actual age is really 37 in two more weeks. So, my goal is to make my "real age" and my actual age match. And here is my 90 day plan to help me get there. After the 90 days are complete, I will retake the test.

Take a multi-vitamin daily - I went to the store last night and bought me a great vitamin pack. It's got every thing in it.

Reduce red meat to 4 ounces a week - I will give this one my best effort.

Increase fish - will add in fish 1 to 2 times a week.

Better foods - Increase my fruit, veggies and more whole grains.

Add strength training - Will do 90 minutes a week of strength training for arms, abs, shoulders and legs.

Stretching - Will add more flexibility stretching to my regular routine.

Dr. Exam - Ask doctor about Mammogram (Did this already)

Seatbelts - Wear seatbelt every time even while sitting in the back seat.

I have made my plan and researched all the necessary vitamins and minerals I need. These things are my goals not just to bring that "real age" number down, but to get healthier in the process. I will post daily on the things I accomplished.

Day 1 - Monday

-Took vitamin
-Did cardio for 47 minutes (ran 4 miles)
-Strength trained for 20 minutes (arms and abs)
-No red meat
-Ate fruit and veggies (had my V-8 too)

I did good today.

Thanks Molly and Kama. I could have just continued on with the other two weeks but I want to be completely successful at this so I had to it over in order to feel good about the whole thing.

-Strength trained for 15 minutes (legs)
-No red meat
-Ate fruit and veggies (had my V-8 too)
