What is it?

The cyber walking challenge is a way for you to join a local walk in your area...5k, 10k, whatever works for you...Most communities have several walks per year...

You will come here, and let us know which walk you have registered for...Then, on the day of the walk, your beloved buddies will be with you in spirit, supporting, cheering you on, cyber style!!

When you finish, you can come back, post your thoughts, your frustrations, any pictures you have, and its just one additional way for us to support each other...

Saturday, May 26th, Pet Promise Rescue Run (Helps homeless pets) 5k

Well Dawnie here we are again. For those of you that don't know Sissy and I are doing the Lyons Club Walk For Sight Tomorrow. This one is near and dear to me because I have a brother that is legally blind and a niece that is going blind. The Lyons Club actually bought my niece a new big tv so that she could see the screen without sitting right in front of it. I am very greatful and glad to be able to give back. Tomorrow will also be very special cause I get to meet Sissy for the first time. We have become close here on Buddyslim and hopefully we have made friends for life. Comeon everyone join a walk, help out, and get fit!!!!!!!

Great site for finding walks in your area!

We did it!!!! Crystal Storm and I finished The Lion's Club 3k Walk For Sight in 27mins. We had a blast getting to know each other. This is truely the way to meet someone in person. We are now looking for future walks that we can do this year. Our new goal is to be able to run in next years 5k race.
We will share pictures as soon as we get them online.
