Well ladies I think the fitness bug has bit me. I will be doing the Relay for Life this Friday May 11. Some of you may know that I am a cancer survivor. I am also doing this walk for my mom and sister who have also had female cancer. My Aunt who survived colon cancer. My grandmother who lost her battle to female cancer at age 28, and my friend Joanne who lost her battle to brain cancer this year at the age of 42. Everyone wish me luck and you will all be with me in spirit.

See...I told you...They are ADDICTING!! I love doing them...GOOD FOR YOU for doing another AND for being a cancer survivor! I shall think of you as I do the Komen Race for the Cure in two weeks!

I too, have found another walk to do in July...This one isnt to worthy, but it will be fun! Its a night time 5k called a Beerathon...And when you are done walking you go back to BW3 for wings and beer!!! YAY!!!!

Thank you so much for this reminder Crystal! My father passed in January 2005 from cancer. May 11,1949 was his birthday! I would love to walk with you agian if we can get things together by then. Well I didn't get to do the relay. Some of you may know that my Dad had a stroke that day and I felt it was more important to be with him. There will be other walks but hes my only Dad.

I will be doing my first walk this Saturday morning. The Komen Race for the Cure 5k. Husband has picked up our race packets. I got two tshirts, a back pack, a water bottle holder and a handy dandy sun visor!

I will post pics on Saturday and let you all know how it goes!
