Workout DVD Swap

I posted this under a different category here that doesn't seem to get much traffic. I was wondering if anyone had any workout DVD's or tapes they might be willing to swap for someone else's. The idea is to post descriptions of the DVD's and then try to match up with someone to trade DVD's.

Here's a link to the thread with some descriptions already posted:

How do you KEEP being motivated???

I am a crash-diet type of person. I pick a diet--Atkins, Hallelujah, fasting, Slim Fast, or my own creation. I get super motivated, follow everything exactly as planned, loose a lot of weight, then CRASH!

Originally, my motivation was that I simply HATED being fat. Now that I'm not super overweight, and I hide my fat well with clothing, that doesn't work anymore. Food has some sort of hold on me. I'm an emotional eater. I eat when I'm happy and when I'm sad. I use food for comfort and for celebration. And I feel so deprived and have that "poor me" mentality whenever I'm dieting.

Not only do I hate dieting, but I hate exercising too. I do it. Don't get me wrong. But I hate it. I hate the woman on my aerobics DVD--I just want to slap her every time she says "I love this workout." Grrr.

So here I am. It's Sunday night. I'm having a canned coke and chips for dinner. :) And tomorrow is Monday. It's also my birthday. And again, I want to begin another diet. But I really don't know how to succeed.

If my diet is strict, I follow it very well, for a week or so. Then I give up. If my diet is to relaxed, I forget that I'm dieting and end up eating whatever. I'm so frustrated!

Any advice?

I lost 70 lbs... 10 to go

Hi
When I had my second child I decided to take a break from my professional equestrian career to be a full time mom to my kids. I had no idea what effects my decision would cause me without my usual outlet of physical activity. I became horribly depressed and was overweight. My friend dragged me to the gym and I felt so self conscious. My only saving grace was that she knew her way around the gym and taught me everything I needed to get thru this time in my life. I became a gymrat and lost 70 lbs with the combination of diet and exercise.
I would watch people come to the gym the first time to never come again because they had no idea how anything worked or what to do there... not to mention being uncomfortable. I decided to begin helping these people and wrote a gym guide to teach about how things work at the gym with video links as examples. I do not take everything too seriously so I did add some much needed humor. This is free to read and I hope that you do. The gym can be a scary place but with a little knowledge its not so bad.
Aside from the physical aspect of weight loss I had to relearn how to eat. I eat small frequent meals which promotes your metabolism to burn fat. I never eat after 8pm unless its a special occasion. I also drink tons of water or plain ice tea with lemon. All diets are different so just find one that your comfortable with.
Here is my story and its free...

Protein shake

Hi everyone. I hope someone can answer this question for me.
I have been drinking a proten shake for breakfast every morning for a while now, while monitoring my portions/caloric intake, and working out. I find that I have not been losing any weight. While I have been toning up due to the workouts, I was wondering if it was possible that all the protein I have been eating could contribute to my lack of results.

This is not a creatine powder, it is a whey protein, I mix in some frozen berries and skim milk.

I've been doing great with my eating, but I still have one problem.. I always eat while I'm cooking. I'll have a little taste here, a little taste there, and before I know it I'm full, and the meal isn't even done yet. Does anyone have, or has had, the same problem? If anyone has any tips to help stop this, please let me know! Thanks (:

I have a hard time sticking to a set eating schedule because I work nights from 11pm - 7am. I dont cook much but I try to get healthier things when I do go to the store to grocery shop. I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there that works night and what sort of ways do you get in all your food and exercise and still stay sane for work??
