I'm new here. I was on another site, but it was a bit overwhelming and just didn't quite fit me - I'm hoping this site will be better (thus far it is!) :)

I've lost 50lbs since mid-May and am looking to lose another 40 by the end of February. I've definitely learned to eat healthier, which is a huge part of what helped me lose the 50, and now I need to learn to stick to a regular exercise plan. I'm ready for it, though, and can't wait to be in incredible shape! :D]]></description>

Is there any way to change the number of calories you want as your goal? When I am in my food journal, it's telling me "Aim for -250 to -750 calories per day". What does that mean? My BMR looks right...around 1400 calories...and that's what I want my calorie consumption per day to be. It looks like it's giving me an extra 300 calories though for my lifestyle activity, and I don't really want that. I ONLY want to do 1400 calories per day. Is that possible to change?

			<description><![CDATA[Well...I'm here...that's a step, right?! Anyone have any leftover motivation laying around? I seem to have lost mine. Thanks in advance! I just joined and I'm not even kidding...I need some serious help. My butt just will not cooperate when it comes to getting off the couch and moving. My mouth is just as bad and will not cooperate either...it just wants the "fun" stuff (chocolate, ice cream, etc)...who does he think he IS? And they have been a horrible influence on my thighs because they're not cooperating anymore either...thinking they can look like a jiggly mess whenever they want. Geez!
Can't wait to get these brats walking the straight and narrow!]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[First of all, I'm realistic about my weight loss nowadays. I used to kill myself drinking about a gallon or two of water a day and only eating an apple. With that diet I would walk 1 mile, run 2 miles, and bike about 10miles on a typical day. Still --I remained at about 180. I've grown up since those days though and have new challenges other than I want to feel like I look good.

I'm in college full time and work about 30-35 hrs a week. I know other people have a lot more going on, but all of this plus trying to keep a 4.0 is a daunting task that is beginning to ware on me. Overall I eat pretty healthily my problem is that I don't make time to eat 'till I'm home around 2 or so and then I eat breakfast/lunch in one as well as dinner a few hours later. ...Basically I over-indulge. I have a hard time motivating myself to go out and exercise b/c I don't like others to see me working out. I feel disgusted that I've let myself get this way and that I just can't seem to get a hold on it. I'm great at setting my mind to things & accomplishing them, but for some reason I just can't seem to overcome this huge hurdle in my life. 

I would greatly appreciate any help in stopping my over-indulgence as well as some exercises that aren't too difficult to do in a small area. --I still run around quite a bit and my legs are pretty toned, but my stomach is horrible in contrast. I feel like I look like a beach ball on stilts. If I could just get everything to be more proportional and maintain a healthier weight for my height I'd be a happy camper.

I am Bella, I am 19 years old and I live in Norfolk, UK.
I currently weigh between 146lbs and 141lbs depending what time of the day I weigh myself. I am 5ft4in.

Ok this is why I want to lose weight.
I am not happy with the way I look, none of my old clothes fit me and I have no energy. I know my BMI says I am not overweight but I am not happy and I really want to change that.

My ideal weight is between 108lbs and 115lbs. I know some of you will say that's quite small but it's still within the healthy limit and last time I was truely happy with the way I looked I was about 108lbs. Basically I just want my BMI to be below 20 and I will be happy.

I don't really have a set diet at the moment. I am a vegetarian, however I eat fish as I think it is very good for, esp as I am trying to lose weight. So I am just going to try to not eat fast food, bread, pasta and stuff like that.

My main change will be my activity level. I currently don't do an awful lot. I hate being cold so I don't like going out walking but I guess I am going to have to suck it up and get out there, because I can't afford a gym membership. I do have a Wii with Wii Fit and Wii active, well it's my boyfriends but it lives around here, so I am going to try to use this as much as possible. 

My goal is to burn at least 600 calories a day and limit how much I eat to between 1200 and 1400.

I am looking to meet some people who can possibly help to motivate me as I am very lazy and I am willing to admit that. Also people who can swap recipes with me because I love cooking new things =D]]></description>
