I have noticed the same thing with mine. My blog posts never show up on the home page as one of the most recent blog posts, even though they used to. Then on the Blogs page, mine shows up halfway down the page. I'm not sure why it happens, but I do save mine as I write too, since I've had posts lost for no reason while typing.
