Best plan to lose 50 lbs in 6 months

Best plan to lose 50 lbs in 6 months

Im looking at the biggest loser plan... anyone have any suggestions for me ? 2 lbs a week sounds about right for slow and steady.
Cal count ?
low carb ?
sugar and white flour free ?

Im broke and cant join any "plans"
