I have done it many times before. The Phase 1 is extremely hard, but is worth the 2 weeks if doing it for the first time to get out cravings.

I had lost 40lbs on SBD.

I still follow certain things about it, but not all. I start at Phase 2 now, it is the normal 1-2lb lost a week. As Phase 1 can slow down the metabolism if you do it too often, and it is not good to give up carbs and fruit like that, they are both important in the diet and you should never restrict any food group.
