I have heard that a high protein diet is supposed to be good for thyroid conditions.* I also have slow thyroid condition, but I've never been successful at sticking to a protein diet, so I can't speak from experience.

I have struggled with a slow thyroid for many years, but recently have gotten it on track.* Here is what has worked for me:*
1.* Kelp Supplement:* 1- 600 mg tablet a day**
2.* I start each morning*drinking warm water with fresh lemon juice*30 min. before I put*anything else in my mouth.* This helps cleanse the body and get the glands working well together
3.* Stay away from thyroid slowing foods.* If you google it you can find a number of websites with lists of foods that slow your thyroid.
4.* I regularly reference a book called*"The Thyroid Solution".* I can't think of the author right now, but you can find it at any major book store.* (Sorry, I am not at home right now to get the authors name).
