Default Useful time (and money) savers

I am always on the run in the morning and usually step out of the house without eating -Most anyone will tell you this is one of the ten commandments of dieting: "thou shalt eat a healthy breakfast". Yeah, sausage mcmuffins dont count as healthy
Anyhow, I went out and bought these re-usable sealing bowls (holds 2 cups) from ziploc and make my breakfast for a whole week in about 15 mins! I take 3/4 cups of oatmeal, some splenda, a little raisins, and some cinnamon -thats it! seal the cup and put away for breakfast! When you're ready to eat, add water almost to the top and microwave for 2 mins- breakfast is served. A good sized helping of oats (gauranteed to fill you up) with not alot of cals/fat
I also*have the 3-cup sized bowls and use them for the ready-mixed salad they sell at the store. You can get four good sized salads out of one bag.
Its an awesome timesaver that has worked wonders for me. It helps keep me out of the "man, i got to eat out today cuz i didnt have time to make my lunch" syndrome.
While you're at it, commit to taking your own lunch to work by buying a nice insulated lunch bag and some ice packs- so you can save on the cals and fat as well as your hard earned $$$!!!
Just my own little tips -Jessie
