Default Tried soooooo many programs

Hi, am a mom of a 9 and 10 year old. I have hit a point to where I realized that I can no longer blame it on my children for the weight I have. I have just started walking 3 miles when a get the chance on my lunch break at work. I have seemed to come to a dead end and am having trouble with losing any more weight. I have tried sooooo many diet plans and yes they work for a little while and then I come to dead ends. I am so burned out with all the diet plans and need to really exercise to take off the rest of my weight. I work a full-time job and then go home and do the my second job with my children. You would think I would have lost a ton of weight. I recently purchased the slim n 6 program, and found that it really tones your body big time and man do you feel the burn the next morning. My problem is we go out to eat alot on the weekends so it kind of defeats the purpose of me exercising. I need to find a good diet plan that is right for me that I can stick with. Any suggestions??

Default RE: Tried soooooo many programs

I, too, am on Weight Watchers. I do the Flex or Points plan. Actually I am following the way it was when it first came out over 5 years ago. It is very easy to follow, and is very very flexible. You can have any food you want - but usually want to stick with lower calories, lower fat and higher fiber. Some of my favorite things are meatless burgers, meatless burger crumbles (for tacos, spagetti sauce, meatloaf), Kashi Good Friends cereal (for snacking on), Subway Veggie Delite sub sandwiches, Baja Fresh Tostado Salad (minus shell, quacamole, sour cream and cheese), Baja Fresh Ensalada salad (minus cheese and dressing-and add on a cup of pico de gallo in place of dressing)....baked Oreida (sic) crinkle fries, stuffed bell peppers and so on. I'm making myself hungry. Anyway, it is a wonderful program (I don't go to meetings-don't like them myself), did do the program online 5 years ago when I lost 80 lbs (gained it back because I stopped using the program). As the other post said, this is a life change - not just a diet. Sharon Portland/Milwaukie Oregon

Default RE: Tried soooooo many programs

hi cynthia. i have the slim in six plan too. what video are you doing. i think the resistance bands they send you suck but that's my opinion. i love the burn it up. i actually did it twice yesterday for some crazy reason. i just love how much you can burn and sweat with that video and i did it twice today. ... the big shocker for me was when i was actually calculating my foods and realized just where all these calories come from but with videos like these, they will definately help you on your way. i suggest going out to the supermarket and reading backs of labels of foods you've never had before. some of my favourite healthiest foods i have found diong it this way and if you like it, great, casue you already know that it's good for you
