Default What is the most popular "DIET" plan?

Taking Catrina's lead, I thought this might be fun...

What "Diet" is your preferred method to losing weight?

If "Other" please pop in and tell us what that is...

Thanks!

My diet of choice is Weight Watchers although they say it is not a diet but a life style change...I agree and it does work as long as you work the program just like any other out there I would imagine.

Good question Dawn!

Mine is a low fat diet but I always have calorie counting in mind though. I avoid the sweets. Cutting soda was a biggie.

I picked portion control, but I really don't follow any one plan. I stay away from all fried foods, eat more veggies & fruit, drink lots of water. Things like that. But, I really eat whatever I want, I just eat it in normal person sizes rather than the enormous, gorging yourself size that I used to eat. I find that the more active we are physically, the more we can eat, and I like that.

Thats a really good point Catrina. I hope, once I go into maintain mode, that I can do the same...Eat normal portions, of everything in moderation...Filling up first on veggies, fruits, etc...I truly hope to ONE day not have to count anything! But we will see...

I am starting a low carb/ high protein diet similar to South beach, I moderate the recipes to fit my needs and taste buds since I still breastfeed. Now I'm starting my excercise program so I'll let you know if it works for me.

I do low carb it's awesome and you can slowly add in food as long as you exercise you won't gain when you add in fruit or 1 piece of wheat bread etc. lol you can't eat all you want and think you won't gain weight it's really a lifestyle change, but low carb helps you take off weight quickly and I have maintained! I added fruit and vegetables and maybe bread once or twice a week and have maintained 230 for 3 weeks cheated a few times but I exercise like crazy lol lol love it!
