Default RE: 9 day cleanse

I did a 3-day detox, which involved juice fasting. I lost 11 pounds but gained back about 6 of it when I started eating again. There are different detox methods - some involve fasting and some don't.
Here is a good link that describes a 7-day juice-fast & detox.
Juice Fasting
My personal experience with the 3-day fast & detox was pretty positive - You get a lot of crap out of your system - Figuratively and Literally - LOL. But you really do feel great afterwards. You just need to make sure that you're able to do it (ie no medical issues,...etc). For me I only got REALLY hungry about 3 times in 3 days - so it wasn't too bad

A cleanse is a way to release harmful toxins in your body which in turn help you to more quickly lose weight. The reason is that when toxins enter your body, fat cells surround the toxins to protect the body and in turn you gain extra weight. As for eating, in the 9 day cleanse you have the first 2 cleanse days which you drink a cleanse supplement and snacks provided in the program. The next 5 days you have a shake for breakfast and dinner and eat a well balanced , low calorie meal for lunch along with snacks during the day. Plenty of H2O is recommended. The last 2 days are cleanse days and that completes the 9 day program. My sister has lost 50 lbs now on the cleanse. She started in December of 2005. Hope that answers some of your questions. Fell free to post more if needed. Daniel

Where can you get information for this cleanse. Is it through a dr or a plan or is it something you can do on your own. I am currently detoxing my self from unnecessary sugar, so I am interested in getting myu health back. Thanks Stephanie

Default 9 day cleanse

I am on a 9 day cleanse program. I am on day 4 and have lost 7 lbs and 9 inches on my total body measurements. I feel great and can't wait to see what the total will be by day 9!
