Is there anyone who has this and could give me dieting tips?..

I also have PCOS! My doctor has put me on a low-carb diet. Women who have PCOS tend to have insulin resisance much like a daibetic-so low carb is what I was told. I would talk to your doctor though to make sure it is right for you! Good Luck! I know how hard it is to lose weight with PCOS!

I have PCOS as well, and I was told low carb too... it is difficult to loose weight but hang in there and you will see results...

I am not, but my Mom just recently was and my Dad got into the same boat around 2003. I was also told I was pre-diabetic by my insurance underwriter when I was trying to get life insurance for my family.

I'm really helping my folks manage their diabetes. My Dad is now at the point where he's got his readings around 120-140 after eating--that's great!

Insulin resistance can happen to you if you're not careful.

Luckily, I've not only lost weight, but got my HA1c & my fasting sugar in excellent range.

Hi guys another member of the club here.
My doc recommended low carb but specifically low GI.
The idea is that your body breaks down your food, you don't put it in there already broken down.
An apple is better than apple juice. Raw carrot is better than boiled carrot is better than mashed carrot.

Since I've been on this I've lost 22lbs so far and I've had very few blood sugar incidents.

I recommend this to anyone with PCOS and Insulin Resistance.

I've also got PCOS and am IR. Anyone want to be buddies with me? LOL
