Tips for healthy eating Ask you self the following questions before eating a meal or a snack. Am I hungry? How hungry am I from 1-5? 1-2 being not so hungry maybe I’m just stressed. Ok Im stressed, tired, im depressed, im angry, etc. What’s wrong? Why do I feel like this? How can I fix the problem? After you ask your self these questions take a deep breath and say out loud. “I am Strong I can do this!” Do some light stretches and breath Relax and unwind. Take a piece of paper. Pretend its your problem. Crumble it up and throw it away. Turn away from the fridge grab a book and start writting. Do something you like. Take a walk. go give yoru self a make over. Go look at the nice clothes in the closet that are starting 2 fit tight and say I want these clothes 2 fit better not tighter!! 3 being so/so I need a snack or im having a craving. If its just a snack ask your self witch is healthier a bag of chips or a banana?? Opt for the banana. If you’re having a craving evaluate your days progress and say to your self. Do I deserve a treat? If yes then say to your self. Ok I can have anything I want as long as it’s PORTION SIZE. If your hunger is a 4/5 then b4 touching your plate evaluate. Take ½ of it off if it’s a big plate only b/c when we are starving we tend to over eat. Eating out ? Eliminate soda, liquor, bread, appetizers, and antipasto. Stick with main course meal ½ of dish (most rest. Give big plates) and desert (share with friend) Coffee skip the sugar since your already having something sweet. This worked for me and I hope it works for you all!!
