Hello

I was on weight watchers for a while. I really liked the idea of just counting points and not calories. It was so simple. I lost weight on the plan. I had joined online, so I never went to any meetings. I did cancel it though because I had to cut back on expenses.

I have been doing WW for a year and a half now and I absolutley LOVE IT! I count points and I love the fact that I don't have to count calories because WW does all of that for you with the point system. To date I have lost 75 lbs with WW and I will never go to anything else. WW is a lifestyle, not a diet and that is how I have to think in order to stick with it ...and for me it's simple to stick with ...in fact when I first started WW I could NOT eat all of my points, it was like I couldn't get all of the food in and that was because before I started I was not eating regularly or the right way , but all it took was about a month for me to get used to eating the way I should have been all along and I was ok! I don't go to the meetings because I don't have the time and also because I hate social gatherings like that ...so I do the plan all online and I have been doing fine on my own for over a year! I joined here at buddyslim for some friends and online support and motivation, and I thought it would be fun too! I have lots of support from my boyfriend, friends and family but you can NEVER have to much support during this weight loss journey!

Hi Katie, welcome to buddyslim! I am on WW and I love it ....I have been doing it for a 18 months now and have lost over 75 lbs ....only been on this site for a couple of weeks so my ticker doesn't reflect what I have lost with WW ...but I love it! I don't go to the meetings ...never have liked social gatherings like that but I do pay for the online WW tools and do it that way and I have joined here for the motivation and accountability! Have you thought of joining a weight loss challenge group here on buddyslim , it's quite fun and you make friends and they help to motivate, support and encourage. I am part of the worker bees weight loss challenge group ...you should come and check us out!

I'm doing WW but I'm not going to the meetings...I'm not doing online either. I've tried it a couple times in the past so I have all the information. The first time I did it was the only time I've really 'done it'. I lost about 40 pounds in just over 4 months. So I know it works if you stil with it.
I'm using this site as my 'meetings' and weighing in here and being accountable to my team (GO BEES!). Just couldn't bring myself to drop the $40 a month to make myself crazy trying to get to meetings.
Good luck everyone!
(I'm on week 2 of WW now...lost 6 pounds in week 1...hoping for some decent number this week...)

I am on WW! And I love it too! It is such a great diet. You can eat whatever you want, just so you stay under your point limit. I am breastfeeding my son, so I have to eat 38 points a day plus the 35 flex points. Sometimes it's hard, but other times it's not.

Hi there I just started looking into starting WW as well. I have never tried it before, but it looks like something I may be able to stick with. I like the fact that I wont have to count calories. Tonight on my way home from work I will be getting a scale that works, and will sign up at WW online! Good luck to you!
