Yep...we hit 105 today..it is 8:15 and still 94 out...it is like a sauna hits you literally in the face when you open the back door...not to mention I wear glasses and after being in a/c they fog up outside..LOVELY!!! Another day gone and another day without rain...people we are literally baking down here. Our grass is crunching when we walk--can't even cut the weeds for fear of tearing the real lawn up.

Barb...DD got asked to go to the river with b/f's family Sun for father's day...haven't put it past DH just yet but he isn't big into the family things anyway so I am figuring let her go see how real families celebrate holidays...LOL!!!!


Anna...we are at $3.89 for regular unleaded and $4.69 for diesel and it is killing us!!! Between DH & myself today, we put $80 in 2 vehicles and that will only get us through Thurs.

Xan..I have my a/c pulled down to 65 right now..I was about to roast when I got home-not that it does any good--it is pumping all it has at anywhere less than 78. Thank goodness we are on well water..no water bill for us!

Lizzy..DH thought his was stress--that is what surprised us to find out he had a sleeping disorder...meds are helping and that is making me a very happy camper.

Alrighty ladies...we are finished packing and countdown has begun..we are at T- 6 hours until we pull out for town...T-12 hours before flight leaves. I am nervous..he is wired!!!! Funny thing is being a boy, you would think he packed lightly...NOT...he has 14 changes of clothes!!! LOL~!!!!!
