I find that stretching and drinking plenty of water is the best way to combat soreness. Being sore, to a certain extent, is a good sign. It means that your muscles are breaking down and having to rebuild stronger. Be sure that you work different muscles on TTH than you do on MW. Your muscles need time to regroup. Make sure your trainer is aware of your MW plans... or better yet, have him give you exercises to do.

How do you know you haven't lost any body fat? If you are using a scale that tells you your body fat, don't trust it. Those scales are ridicululously inaccurate.

Make sure your diet isn't so strict that you aren't getting enouch calories to sustain you, that could be why you are tired. Or maybe you just need more sleep. As your body gets used to working out again you should feel more energized.

Personally I don't think it matters how the water is before you drink it, so long as you drink it. I found this article. It has good information about what to eat and when.

Good luck to you and sorry about writing a novel!
