I am also a farm wife which means I get roped into feeding cows, hauling hay, and working cows any time the hubby needs me. I have been battling my weight pretty much since I hit puberty. I have done many diets and lost weight only to fall off the wagon one day and just figure I'll stay off until next Monday, or whatever start day I make for myself. In the end, I binge until that start day and past leading to more gained weight. So that is my MO. I am however happy to say that I recognize that as my cycle and am committed to getting right back on the wagon when I fall off and not beat myself up for it for the next week or two.

Now for my goals:
1. Walk or other cardio atleast 5 days a week
2. 5 or more servings of fruits and veggies daily
3. Drink my 8 glasses of water daily

My long term goal is to get back into my sexy jeans that looked so good right after I had my first kiddo. I'm figuring I'll need to get down to about 150.

Thanks for being so welcoming!!
Hey Jess, You'll be wearing those sexy jeans before you know it.....just be ready to post a picture of yourself in them.

April, that homework assignment might have to wait til tomorrow.... Son and DIL are in Vegas celebrating their 25th anniversary and we are babysitting their 5 dogs and 3 cats and a bird. Not conducive to a romantic evening. lol But tomorrow.... now that sounds like a 'red & black lace' night for sure!

Cynthia, I know how close you can be to your dog, so happy you got Gumbo back. I would have been frantic if one of mine was missing. I have them chipped, is Gumbo? It's not very expensive and it would sure be safer.

I did my wogging this morning, then went shopping and parked as far as possible from the store, then I felt bad because I had to have a 'bag boy' (that's probably politically incorrect these days, sorry) come out with me to unload a 5 gal water bottle that was to heavy for me to get into the back of my car. He probably thought I was a nut. Now I've got to go get busy, making chili. I have a great recipe made with 'quorn' instead of ground beef and it has 7 different kinds of peppers and is so good! and healthy. Bye for now.
