Morning girls,
oye, what a day yesterday. 5 minutes before I'm about to leave for Ds' friends birthday party, I get a call from the mom who is a good friend and she is HYSTERICAL, she's just been in a car accident and the airbags deployed, can I come get her son. Long story short, car is a mess, breaks failed while turning from main road onto a side road. She was going about 25, slowed to make the turn and realized the breaks weren't catching....plowed into a concrete block fence. Not so sure if the car is totalled. It's a land rover, and it's a good car, so it' might survive, but who knows. I waited with her for the tow truck and then went to the party place and took over the party for her, and then took her to urgent care afterwards. Didn't get home until 9 last night. Long day. She's going to be hurting pretty badly today, but no one was seriously injured, so we're all thankful.

Anna-110 here today. We're "shattering records" as the weather people put it. Thanks for the heat girlfriend

Barb-are you ready for summer in the desert. Get the suit out and go hang by the pool today. Good day to use that wireless access, lol.

Jen-nice that Bill doesn't have a place just in time for summer. Good timing eh. Sounds like a sweet tattoo, you'll have to post a pic. I'm such a wuss...I've always wanted one. I'll pierce just about anything, but prolonged needle exposure is not happening...I've always told myself when I get to goal weight, a lower back tattoo and a belly button piercing are in order. Maybe that's why I'm still fat, lol.

Lori-Sweet! I'm so happy for you about working from home. I know how much that will decrease your stress. The heart rate monitor is really cool. You program in your age, weight, and a few other things and it tracks your heart rate and calorie burn during exercie. It keeps the data for a week, and then resets. You can upload the file for storage onto their website. I love it. It beeps when I drop below a certain heart rate and I know to step it up a bit. It's nice to know what I'm really doing now.

Mine is the F6...sort of middle of the road. These things have some awesome functions. I didn't want to spend more than 100 bucks though. I ended up getting it on sale for 99.99 lol.

Terry-it sounds like love to me, lol. I love the 1 foot rule. And yes, you are the cool mom. Keep up the good work, those 4 lbs will be gone in no time.

Lizzy-sucks when the family can't get out of the newlyweds way. Been there, done that. My mil was like that. Thankfully things are better now. You know how to get that weight off, it'll be gone in no time. Sorry that ex flaked on you...not a good time for him to be clueless.

Okey dokey...on my list today is a lot of work, getting some groceries, checking in on my friend to see how she's doing, and getting to the gym. I have to go get the kid up now and get him to school...last week of school this week.

OMG- I just saw "Harptallica" on the news. It's Metallica on harps. Wow. I have no words for that.

Peace out ladies,
Sue
