Alexis - I just read your message from the last thread and wanted to say that I believe 100% that what we eat and exercise doesn't actually rev up our body immediately. It always seems to take a few days (or weeks) for our body to catch up to what we've done well (or bad sometimes).
Also - Lyssa - good job recognizing the small victories. I think that's key to losing weight and staying motivated. It's so easy to get down when we don't lose as much as we'd like - but it's truly the small choices we make every day that are the victories we should focus on and celebrate!
