I lost my first 10 pounds easy and now have been losing a gaining the same three pounds for over a month. I want to lose at least 8 - 10 pounds before my 40th birthday in June. Went to the grocery last night a bought eggs, low fat cheese, Canadian bacon, turkey and lots of salad mix and veggies. Phase 1 of this diet seems to be a lot like the Atkins diet. Couple of questions....I am a little worried about getting constipated in phase 1 (sorry so blunt)! I also worried about getting headaches and loss of energy. I have been doing BikramYoga (hot yoga) three times a week which is pretty intense and am worried that I may not have the energy to do the class. Just a few concerns but ready to give it a try. We are going to the international festival today where there are lots and lots a great food and spirits but I am confident that I will make the right choices today!!!
Well I exercise 3 times to 4 times a day and have no problems and strenuous workouts i might say! Never had headaches but I don't eat red meat now I cut out meat all together except fish...I love SOUTHBEACH and if you stick to the program it really works. No loss of energy for me but then it depends on what your diet was like before. As for breakfast during phase 1 I ate tuna and walnuts or cheese anything i felt like within PHASE I eat your dinner for breakfast if you like there is no set way to eat only the foods in that particular phase. I personally love SOUTHBEACH it is not a diet but a healthy way of living and Ive tried everything not ATKINS because I was never really a meat eater only chicken so all the best to you!
