Default Re: Net Calorie Deficit Question!

Hey there. Well having a deficit of 250 cals a day (meaning eating 250 less a day then what you have been) will, after 7 days, be 3500 calories. That is one pound of fat. That is the science of a calorie, however, if you burn the 250 and eat the same, it still counts.. 500 cal deficit a day for 7 days will equal a 2 pound loss.. 750 a 3 pound loss..and so on... So, with exercise, journaling that too, will show on your deficit as well. Your basil rate is how much you at your weight burn naturally.. just existing. I think to ensure loss, the best way is to choose a healthy amount of cal intake.. sticking to it, for me 1200, which is a few hundred less than maintaining my existance at my size now, and then working out... keeping those two considered is the best way to lose weight... and knowing that.. if you over indulge that one day.. you can still aim to have the same deficit for the week... just work harder the next day.. or workout extra that day... it will all balance out!

ok.. I know I have went on and on.. I hope it makes a little sense! lol
Cheers
