Food for thought...
"It's a piece of cake".* "You can't have your cake and eat it, too".* "Better than sliced bread".* "Easy as pie".* "Gone bananas".* "Cool as a cucumber".* "In a pickle".* "Say cheese".** Where did some of these old sayings come from?* And why do so many of them make references to food?* I know there are a lot more, but these are just a few.**I've seen some of these on blogs and forum threads and it just got me wondering.* Has the world always been so obsessed with food?
