Hi Kiah. I competed in my first 1/2 marathon in Dec. 2007. I have ran numerous 5K and 10K races but wanted to push to the next level. I used the training guide in the runners journal. I think you can go on line and print it out. It has a guide for uping your mileage to do a 10K (after you've accomplished the 5K).
