Hi guys another member of the club here.
My doc recommended low carb but specifically low GI.
The idea is that your body breaks down your food, you don't put it in there already broken down.
An apple is better than apple juice. Raw carrot is better than boiled carrot is better than mashed carrot.

Since I've been on this I've lost 22lbs so far and I've had very few blood sugar incidents.

I recommend this to anyone with PCOS and Insulin Resistance.
