Welcome Gloria, Carolina & Christina!!!!

Gloria: You go girl!!! Sometimes setting a goal can be a good thing or a bad. By this I mean saying I want to set a wedding date but won't until I weigh this amount or opposed to saying no I'm setting the wedding date and I have between now and then to get it done. I find the first way just gives you a bit more time to keep putting it off, whereas the second one is like you have this much time so get your arse in gear. Of course it's whatever works for you and I think it's SUPER fabulous that you've lost 66lbs dancing. Get down with your bad self lady! LOL As far as the 'plateau' a lot of people use that word when in fact they aren't at a plateau. The first thing you can do to see if it is one is to shake up your routine and do something completely different from what you are doing now! Recalculate your calories needed based on the amount and intensity of your exercise as well as some people go on say 1500 calories and stay on that forever thinking that is what will get them to lose weight, when in fact if might of needed to start at 2000, and go to 1700 and 1500 and eventually 1200 so be careful with that as well. You want this bad enough you'll get there. Dig deep if you need to but that motivation is staring you right in the face, get her done!!!!!

Carol: Alright girl, first can I just say YAY FOR MOMMYHOOD. I myself have 3 kids (almost 4, almost 2 and 3 months) so I know what it's like to be a stay at home mom and worry about everyone but yourself...bottom line, be a bit selfish and start worrying about you. Lounging around didn't make you overweight, lounging around and eating the wrong kinds of food as WELL as stress has made you that way. Make SMALL changes to things that you are doing. First start by telling yourself the all famous L'oreal "Im worth it" because you are worth it. You owe it to yourself to start taking care of yourself. Do you want to be around in 20 or 30 years to see your kids grow up and live life? It comes down to hard facts. Without being a little selfish you won't get there. Small things can include, tv remote, put it away, get up off the couch to change the channel. I know this sounds crazy but water? You want a drink? Leave a 2L bottle of cold water upstairs and everytime you need a drink, go up and get it. Chasing the kids around DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Put on a favourite cartoon that has the kids dancing, get up and make a goof of yourself, it makes a difference. Buy smaller plates and eat off the smaller plate as opposed to a regular size one. Buy lots of veggies and cut them all up and leave them in the fridge in raw state and everytime you start getting a munch on, grab the bowl, the kids will enjoy those too. Eat a good protein enriched diet and figure that out by eating 1g of protein per 1kg of your weight. Your body NEEDS that everyday without extra exercise to keep your muscles good and working towards shedding the weight but increasing your metabolism. Eat within the first hour of waking up, breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. I could go on and on but you know what, deep down you really do know these things so it's just a matter of putting them into play. You need someone to contact everyday, you just let me know. You will get there, with or without the support of your husband as the only person you need to do this for is YOU and then for your kids!

Christina: Welcome to the Slim!!! First off lose the word 'diet' from your vocabulary when referring to the new lifestyle change that you want to make. There is so much publicity over 'diets' that I think ultimately it's warped a lot of people's thoughts etc. What are you studying in College???
