Back for a check-in before getting ready for work...no work out today..decided to give my body a much needed rest and I also managed to catch a cat-nap. I am going back and forth in my mind on whether to give WW a try again...core or points ...need to hurry as today would be my 1st day in the week...need to see if I can find my books...I am just wanting a jump start again..going tooo slow for me loss-wise. I had w/i yesterday and was actually up 2.5 lbs but I am not going to count it as I had so many issues with the kidneys over the weekend...I am going to wait and see what next week says and go from there..if still up then, I will bite the bullet and count the lbs.

As for DS....well guess who arrived about 30 min after DH left to go to work ..I knew that crap was going to happen...he was fine though and said they had stayed up all night at a friend's house (girl)...there was 12 of them. He had a blast but he was dead tired and I HATE the fact that he drove home without any sleep as it was a 25 min drive down dark country roads . UUURRRRR! I did express my concerns but he was already give out and said he regretted staying already so don't revisit the subject that he had visted all the way home trying to stay awake. Said that he was ready to leave when they all started calling him a wuss, etc and he caved in. At least they were at the girl's house with the parents and I know there was nothing else involved that prevented him from being able to get home earlier except young and dumb stupidity . He is almost 18 and in a few months he will be a college student and I will have no idea his comings or goings at all so this I just have to learn to take in stride...he isn't a bad kid and this is only the second time he has ever pulled this crap and he has been able to go out with friends since he was 13 as he was hanging out with a friend at that time that had an older brother that could drive at night..funny how DSs or so much different than DDs...no way she is going out with friends alone and she is 14.

Okay gotta fix my lunch..made taco soup over the weekend..woo hoo!!!

Nik..I went Sun am and bought apples, oranges, bananas, tomatoes, lettuce...and it was EXPENSIVE..just out the fresh section, I spent over $20 I foresee we need to have an email session today!!!!

Lori..hope furbaby is okay!!! Wonder if it was a critter??? I was always too scared to challenge my parents either!! I guess I was one of the wuss's...

Jen..woo hoo on the carpet! Too funny about Scout and the carpet glue high!!! Hope Garrett is better this morning.

Does anybody watch Paradise Hotel..I know I mentioned it last week..it was on last night and I was researching the characters on the web to see if I could tell who was next to get eliminated and one the guys on there killed himself after he got back from the show last fall...isn't that horrid??? Said he was dealing with severe depression and his family had tried to help him but he did it anyway..now that I know this, I can actually see it on the show..he is withdrawn from the group and a loner. SO SAD!!!
