I was starting to workout and eat healthier earlier this year when I injured my back. I was down for about 6 months. I lost a lot of strength and gained a lot of weight. My goal is to be able to ride my bike like before...I have a great bike and it is just sitting in my garage (missing me). I would also like to have enough strength and stability in my body to dance in a dance class. Additionally, I would like healthy food choices and preparation to come easy to me.
Those are my future goals, but my TODAY goal is to speak lovingly to myself as I begin changing what have been lifelong habits, to forgive myself for the injury my weight has done to my body and to understand where my habits have come from (self-protection), to find new and better outlets for my feelings.
