Default Re: Thurs. Aug. 30th

Morning everyone. Feeling much better finally. Had a breakfast meeting yesterday and made some good choices. This is good because I weigh in this morning after dropping ds off at school. I was going to do it yesterday but the center didn't open until after my meeting started.

Nothing going on for us this weekend...just chilling out. Maybe we'll find a pool to go hang out at for awhile. Calling my realtor today to start the hunt. I have a few I'd like to look at. I think after this summer I've changed my stance on a pool. I didn't want to have one, because of the maintenance and water issues, but I'm not ruling it out now, lol.

Jen-sounds like some good planning going on. Careful with those jello shots baby...they're like gelatinous anesthesia. I swear they just absorb right into your body. Can't believe Jess and the full moon man. That's one of those things I would find hard to keep a straight face while doing my parental discipline duty. I have alot of those in my life. I hope it didn't screw her chances for a team spot.

Allison-careful with the actual wendie plan...the numbers on the plan are from an old WW plan, and I'm not sure whether they will leave you high or low. Just multiply your daily points by 7 and add your 35 WAP and then divide them out with 3 days at normal, one high, one low, one really high, one really low and mix them amongst each other...one caveat though, don't put the "really high" day just before your weigh in...that's a bad thing. Good luck. Stay the course, this is when it gets frustrating, but it's all worth it. Compare it to the alternative, right? That's what my leader used to tell me when I was annoyed at losing .3 while everyone else was losing 4 lbs. Compared to the alternative, it's all good.

Terry-hope your dh feels better soon. It really sucks to be sick for so long. Yes, we're renting now. Things are really bad in the market here in the valley...it's really a buyers market now. When we got here, houses sold in 24 hours...no way we were buying then.

Nik- I love Will Ferrell. Elf has become one of our Christmas classics. Devon quotes it all year long.

Lizzy-I'm sorry about your mom. Hang in there.

Barb-that's cool that you stayed on with them. I know they are "old school" but you could set up an FTP on your home computer, have them upload a .wav file there and then download the report. Really easy. That's what we do with financial reports in my job. Saves on overhead. Good luck with Boswell. There are so many companies that want an experienced MT.

Busy day today, must get all the stuff I haven't gotten done all week done today. Ds has art class this afternoon, so I get an extra hour to work. Gotta get moving and get him up and out the door.

Have a great day!
