Re: Need Help with snacks
It has taken me almost a year, but I have finally taught myself to eat breakfast....I have peanut butter toast on whole wheat bread every morning. It's the only thing that doesn't make me feel like barfing afterward, lol...my stomach just doesn't handle food well in the morning!!
For snacks I usually eat fruit...red grapes, pineapple chunks, and TONS of watermelon. I practically live off the stuff this time of year. I also like to have some walnuts (which are great before a meal because they contain Omega-3s that make you feel full!). Occasionally I have some hummus on mini pitas, or one of those 100 Calorie snack packs (they have everything under the sun now, from Wheat Thins to Keebler Fudge Stripes).
I really need to work on my water intake, though....I just never remember to drink it! I think I will start setting an alarm clock in the kitchen again...
