How I do it is similar, I upload my pics to photobucket but I can't copy and paste here. It just won't work for me. Instead, I copy the URL link for my photo on photobucket, come here and click on the insert image button, and on the little pop up window I paste the URL. You won't see the picture in the body of your post, but you will see the URL. Click on preview, or submit, and the picture should show then.
