I get hungry as well at times. But I was given some good advice that really works. For your snacks eat a fiber and a protein. Such as a green pepper and a lite cheese stick or an apple and a low fat yogurt. That combination works wonders and it will help you get through to your next meal. Also, drinking water helps too.
