RE: sodium?
If you drink a lot of water it will flush the salt out of your system. I definitely hate the bloated feeling after eating a lot of salt. drinking a ton of water (half my body weight in ounces or more) and the next day I'm usually back to normal. I can't imagine consuming a ton of salt every day though. I can't even handle those campbells soup to go's more than once or twice a week. super salty. I'm sure it affects different people differently, but you might try a low sodium version (if possible) or skipping for a day or two to see how you feel.
