Hello. I feel good that it's a new month, new attitude, etc. I have gained a bit of weight back. I went to the dr yesterday and he says I have cyclical edema which means I go thru cycles where I retain water. I am doing that now and that is probably why my weight fluctuates so much from day to day. I can lose 4 lbs in a day then the next day weigh 6 pounds more. Anyhow, I am going to be upping the water to flush that stuff away. I have been craving salts and sugars and this might be making things worse, so I need to limit these things too. I am going to go for a goal of losing 8 lbs this month. My weight today was 218. I just want to finally be under 210 and to get there I need to pay better attention to my diet. The exercise is great, so it's got to be the diet.
I have been doing some yard work, or specifically hula hoing my yard for the past 2 days. I didn't walk yesterday but the day before I did walk 3 miles and then hula hoed for an hour. Yesterday I did half an hour of hula hoing. My arms need the work out!
Anyhow, I am going to try doing better and see if I can finally get below 214 which is the lowest I have reached yet. Now I gotta lose the 4 lbs to reach that mark tho first.
