I also wanted to lose weight for health reasons! My parents and older brothers and sisters all had health issues because of weight! The health issues ranged from diabetes to, back, knee and hip problems that required surgeries! It really scared me! I couldn't walk very far without my back and legs killing me! If I got on the floor to play with my grandkids I had to crawl to the couch to get back up or have hubby pull me up!
I have proven to myself I can do this! I have also met so many wonderful friends along the way that have helped me! So I know I can continue this journey and succeed!

Bette Joe, I can so relate. I don't like what I see in the mirror. My youngest daughter got married 2 years ago and I still have not looked at the wedding pictures because I know I will hate (I don't like to use that word, sorry) to see the way I looked. AND I have to watch how I get down on the floor also to play with the grandkids. I think about that before I get down, so I don't make a scene in getting up. So I get down by something that I can use to help me get up. I know this does not make sence to a lot of people but it is an issue with me. Bette Joe you are doing soooo good. I know I have to buckle down if I am going to make a difference in my weight loss, so just to let you know, you are proof it can happen. Thanks Bette Joe..
