I started depression meds Friday. I had to wait til my flex card started working. He prescribed Celexa and I am jumping out of my skin. I dont know if I like it....but I had been taking xanax for episodes of anxiety which is the equivalent of drinking without the calories, so it may be just going from the numbness of xanax to the highness of the new AD. I hate meds, but it normalizes....

When I was on depression meds a few years ago...my doc put me through many pill cocktails...it was horrible. He finally put me on Cymbalta and it worked for me. I weined my own self off...and haven't been as depressed feeling since. Hope you find what you need to make you feel better. |
