I can relate! I didn't know where to start and so I didn't start anything at all. I felt a lot of guilt as I wasn't losing any weight and I kept trying and it wasn't good enough because it wasn't working. Someone suggested I join one of the weight loss groups. Well, I waited awhile because I didn't really want to get THAT involved. When I was ready, I joined the Rockstars group. Then, one of my friends, Tatiana, started a walking challenge, and it was a tough challenge! I didn't really want to do the challenge but I pretended I did. EVeryday, I would pretend I really wanted to lose the weight and I'd pretend I wanted to do it anyway at all possible until it actually worked! I started wanting to become more involved, wanting to walk more, wanting to really be conscious about what I was eating, and then the weight started to come off. Now, every pound propels me to want to do more. I am excited to reach new goals and I am making a lot of friends here who really care about me. So, the best thing to do is to join a group, and post often in the forums so people know who you are and you will start to notice things change. I am glad I stuck around and didn't give up!
