Default Re: letting go of binge eating

Sarah, I did not mean "pure" protein, haha. Eggs, turkey, grilled chicken, nonfat yogurt. No bread and even fruit. Some veggies. It usually fills me up and I can say to myself that with such a filling meal I am not really hungry, it is in my mind, the cravings.

Sarah, I don't know about you, but I would still weigh myself. I used to think that I would stay away from the scale for a week or two and "be good" and get some great numbers. Guess what? I would gain instead because of no accountability and wishful thinking. I think that for me, I need to learn to tolerate weight fluctuation without feeling desperate when I see a little gain. It's simply setting up a binge cycle mentally again, like saying, "I tried so hard and what do I get instead? Screw everything, I am so upset, where is my chocolate?!!" LOL
